THE BISCUIT

Friends of the Biscuit are fans of the
festival who recognize that the festival is
free because it is supported by donations
from both companies and individuals.

Our Friends of the Biscuit campaign offers
benefits for individual donations to the
festival. 2006 marks the 21ST Anniversary
of the Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival. The
festival has changed over the years from
just one stage to four, from covering just a
corner of downtown to six city blocks,
from just 1500 fans the first year to over
100,000 thousand fans.

But the festival has stayed the same, it is
still about the music and it is still free.
We hope you enjoy our 21ST Anniversary
and that like many fans you return each
year. We hope you will help us make the
festival possible by becoming a Friend of
the Biscuit.

Think about all the other live music events
you attend. Is “da biscuit” worth the
cover charge you paid to a bar, or the last
concert ticket you purchased? Please
make a donation that reflects how
much you enjoy the festival .

Friends of the Biscuit Benefits

Every donation is recognized by the Sonny
Boy Blues Society and is tax deductible as
allowed by law. Donors are listed on our
website. Through Friends of the Biscuit
we also offer some limited benefits for
specific levels of donation.

Our Friends can be seen

t-shirts are produced each year for
our Friends.

The emerging artist stage hosts
some of the hot new talent in the
blues world. Our Friends of the
Biscuit play a part in picking the
next rising blues star by voting for
their favorite emerging artist.

Our sponsors know what true
music fans the Friends are the

goodies in our friends festival kit.
